Sade "Sweetest Taboo"

I got this one on vinyl at the house too. Sweet bass line--minute: 0:40 (whew)

I wanted to seriously marry this woman.

All I can say is... She is so fine! Still! No one has brought the "smoothness" that she has brought. "Smooth Operator" was the cut along with "Your Love is King" and "Kiss of Life".

Have you ever heard anybody that sounds like her? I love original folks! I heard she is amazing LIVE and that her band is like 25/30 members!

My wife loves Sade!!!! I don't think any woman can listen to Sade and not like it!

Cuban too! Whooooooooow!!!

How about "Is It A Crime" and "Love Is Stronger Than Pride"? Yes, these and several other Sade songs are in my iTunes library. I probably don't go two weeks without listening to her music.

And Aaron, no I've never heard anybody that sounds like her!

I would take out a loan to see her and her band live.

Aaron, Sheila E!! Prince had a way of finding them. I saw them both live on the Purple Rain tour.

I played this album to the ground when I was little. Now I can't hear it anymore. But I once loved it to death.

No Way Ant! Sheila E was a musical genius as well. I could have sworn her and Prince were related. From the same cloth fo sho!

So tell me... How was the concert? I want to see Prince in concert before I die!

Here are a few folks I have to see before I die...

Michael Jackson
Prince
Sade

I have already seen the likes of Stevie, Run DMC, Isley Bro's (not a full concert but it was good enough), The O'Jays, and yes Kwame, Rakim, and Kool Mo D, Tribe Called Quest, Gap Band, and Chaka!

Some I wish I could have seen but they are gone...

Marvin Gaye
Sam Cooke

Anyway tell me about he concert homie!

Aaron, the most amazing concert I've ever been to. We were also about 12 rows back from the stage. INCREDIBLE!!!! He played Purple Rain for about 15 minutes at the end. This was before all the legal junk so he sang all the good stuff. He had the most amazing musicians with him and Sheila E looked GREAT. I mean, GREAT!! She did a few solos. He had Wendy and Lisa there too (you gotta remember them)!!

12 rows! Im hatin! Not really but I am a little bit. Of course I remember Wendy and Lisa! The two white girls... I think one was Latino (Mulatto) though? I am not sure?

You know what you made me do? I wen't and looked to see if he was touring anytime in the future. I am in the bay area so he has to come to Oakland or San Fran.

None that I know of though.
