A Technical Reminder

This site is hosted and maintained by Coptix, Inc. Any technical concerns regarding comment section functionality, search box malfunctions, page loading problems, etc. should be sent directly to them. I personally have no control over the technical functions of the comment section, how the search feature is designed to work, etc. If you have questions contact Chattablogs directly as stated on the bottom right-hand column on this site. Chattablogs hosts hundreds of blogs and how they decide to configure the comment section on any given day to address SPAM issues is out of my control because it's a system-wide configuration of which I have no involvement. I am not a web designer and do not configure how any of the features on this site function.

Spam is a constant fight and with a footprint of over 1700 blogs we have to be very aggressive to keep our server running. We don't have the hardware to support all of the server cycles that would be spent processing every spam message, so we've come up with a number of strategies. One of those strategies is to filter content before it even makes it to the blogging software. Unfortunately a small bug in our filter caused it to be overly aggressive for the past couple of days. I believe that we have fixed the problem. Legitimate comments should now have no problem.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience of the past couple of days. We will continue to be aggressive against actual spammers and do our best to maintain a worthwhile blogging experience for all of our users. Thanks for your understanding.
