EXCELLENT. At first, I was REALLY skeptical of Downey. He's a great bad guy/scumbag, but I wasn't convinced he'd be able to pull off the transition to good guy. I was thoroughly impressed. The movie as a whole was just really well directed, plot and character driven, and (as far as I could tell) faithful to the original Ironman (with a few updates). I can't wait till the rest of the Avengers come out (CPT America, the new Hulk, etc.).

I thought the movie was great fun. Downey did a fabulous job with the role. The Ironman suit was fabulous. I loved that the movie showed so much of him developing and adjusting to the suit. In light of this, the only downside to the movie, and this is minor, was that Obadiah could just jump into the new suit and perform like a pro. I give it 9 out of 10.

That Hulk preview looked killer!

We saw it this weekend, enjoyed it much! My only drawback was the sexual stuff, being there were quite a few little boys in the crowd. I wasn't surprised by the sexual content, just wish little boys could see a super-hero with better example of handling the sexual. Of course, this was before the character became ironman. Maybe this will be fleshed-out in the next movie. Speaking of that, the scene after the credits made me think maybe there was going to be a merging of the matrix and ironman, until the new character speaks.

t.smith, wait, so the sex scenes bothered you but all the bloody violence didn't? It's ok for little boys to see a super hero murder people?

By far one of the best superhero movies made. I expected something decent, but not something great.

Good way to kick off the sumer movie madness and watch my wallet empty.

LOVED this movie. Can't wait to see the rest of Marvel's in-house productions (this was the first one that they didn't farm out to another studio).

t.smith, if it makes you feel any better (prob not), Stark's womanizing is direct from the comics. Not that they had to show everything that they did, but at least they didn't pull it out of thin air to spice up the movie.
