Chris Rock/Chocolate Bar

Chris Rock.jpg

I saw Chris Rock "Live" over the weekend. It's his "No Apologies Tour."
Of course, he was hilarious. At one point he said: "George Bush did such a bad job that he's made it hard for a white man to get elected president again. We're so desperate now that we're willing to have a black man or a woman or a giraffe or anything except another white guy."

Afterwards we went and hung out at the Chocolate Bar in "South City" St. Louis. This place is really, really cool. The best chocolate martini's and stuff in world!!

I love how everything bad that happens is Bush's fault (& obviously not for just Chris Rock but for most of America).

9/11? Bush's fault.
2004 Tsunami? Bush's fault.
Hurricane Katrina? Bush's fault.
Economic slowdown? Bush's fault.
Housing market woes? Bush's fault.
1 in 4 girls have an STD? Bush's fault.
Steve Bartman & the Cubs? Bush's fault.
Roger Clemens lying to the Senate? Bush's fault.

Paul, what do you expect? I think it's just simply that the guy's been in power for eight years. When you're the guy for that long, people are ready to see you go at the end.

Jeff, I didn't intend to express surprise about it. I just think it's funny (especially when I really did hear guys on ESPN Radio talking about Bush's role in the current baseball & steroids debacle).

john, haha, no bro, the "WE" was not me a Chris but me and a buddy of mine. I'm sure Chris was on a plane after the show.

Paul, Wow! I figured you had tacked that one on at the end for sarcasm's sake. Good grief. You'd think the safer bet would be, "It's Roger Clemens' fault," or maybe, MAYBE Bud Selig.

Chris Rock's observations about, oh, most things, are pretty incisive.

I have learned much from him. Or something.

Chris Rock is so funny, sadly the dude never makes it out to New Mexico, me and my wife though are wanting to get out to Vegas sometime and see him! I mean I wonder if I can get some seminary credit in homiletics because Driscoll has said Chris Rock is a good person to learn that from ;)

And Paul everyone knows:
Roger Clemens lying to the Senate is only one person's fault-BARRY BONDS

...politicians take so much credit for stuff they've got no influence or business in, they can take some blame, too.
