Fellas, I'll post again in a few weeks. I'm off to Japan for a couple of weeks to visit some missionary families. Thanks to frequent-flyer miles this flight cost $46.08. Yep, 46 bucks!

but growing multi-culteral and multi-class
church. We are located in a very diverse comm-
nity.We have teenagers,children,african-americans
carribean people of african descentmost of them are over 40 and few under 40.My wife and I and 2 or 3 others have college degrees and both of us have some seminary training. also we have a number
of young white people between the ages 20 and 35.
Everyone of them are young proffessionals. They live in the community. Most of them are evangelicals that have some connection to campus
crusade,Redeemer or some of its church plants.
Racial reconciliation is very important to me.
Recocilliation across class,culture and gender
is important to me.There is an urgency inside of
me concerning this matter.I am 49 years old raised in a small town in Texas.I have seen racism in its most vulgar forms.I have witnessed the growth of the Black middle class. But I seen
people destroyed by poverty in this country and around the world.I have also seen what you have seen the fact that the black middle class and
the white middle class do not think they need
each other. This only allows us to continue to
foster our backwards assumptions about each other.
I am very concerned about this in the words of
Desmond Tutu,There is no future without forgiveness.I enjoy reading your blog and I am praying for you to finish your PHD.
God bless you
