At the invitation of Rep. Cynthia Davis (R--O'Fallon, MO) I testified today before the Interim Committee on Poverty of the Missouri House of Representatives for the great state of Missouri. My testimony dealt with better solutions to poverty that targeted the truly disadvantaged, rejected minimum wage increases, and understood that marriage the single greatest variable in keeping mothers and children out of poverty over the long-run.
My testimony followed an excellent testimony on health care and poverty by Michael F. Cannon, Director of Health Policy Stuides, at the Cato Institute.
Lots of fun!!
