Should Carr resign?

He looked like a broken man after the game yesterday. If I was the AD, I'm not sure I'd have him "quit" yet. For all of Carr's faults, he's been the front man of the program and I believe he should be able to save face his own way.

He's still probably done after this season though. Those two losses will be unforgivable for many Michigan faithful.

Sad for UM fans, it seems that Carr joins Gerry Faust as a football coach who can do what Billy Graham does; get a whole stadium to shout our Savior's name in unison.

And as a Spartan grad, I hate to say it, but I'm looking for Michigan to start pulling things together before they come to East Lansing Nov. 3. My best guess is that the Wolverines come out against (0-2!!!!) Notre Dame looking like 1975 vs. Woody Hayes.

No he shouldn't resign. If he's the reason Michigan stinks right now, he should stick around for a while, that way Ohio State fans have one less team to worry about in the Big Ten. :)

I'm not sure whether or not Carr SHOULD resign, but I know he won't. I hope they keep him around at least another year so the Buckeyes can continue to beat up on him!

BTW, see the reports on the game? They thrashed Notre Dame with a relentless running game.

(not exactly a Nostradamus-like prediction, but hey, I can brag, right?)

I don't like Michigan, but I do respect them. Well done, Coach Carr.

(OK, it helps that I like Notre Dame even LESS than Michigan...)
