So yesterday my Mom volunteers at the Red Cross and she ends up spending most of her time fending away a woman who stole someone's identity, claiming to be a Katrina disaster victim, just to get the $2,000 in aid for housing and expenses. The woman was later discovered in the interview process. My Mom was in shock. Unfortunately, I'm not.
My Mom said something like this, "she was really good. I couldn't believe it." Appearently the woman had gone through the trouble of memorizing the details of another woman's life. Amazing.
