Open Letter To All St. Louis Drivers: "The Green Light Means 'GO'"!!

green light.jpg

Dear St. Louis Drivers,

Pictured above is a something called a "GREEN LIGHT." Can you say, "green light?"

When you're driving in your car and you see it. You should press the large pedal on the far right (pictured below) called, an "accelerator" or "gas pedal," that way those of us who actually have stuff to do can get on with our lives while you sit and the traffic light. Gazing at the sky or talking on the phone.

Ugghhh!!

Best,

Anthony

PS--St. Louis, below is a picture of a gas pedal on the far right. Your car should have one.

Having been away from STL for a few years and living in Chicago and Michigan where people REALLY can't drive, I'd take a slow-pokey driver than a speedy driver who doesn't know how to use a turn signal.

Dude, it's even worse in Nashville. But yeah, St. Louis drivers suck...

... err, except me of course... crap.

I'm so agreeing with you. Today I came off the ramp at 270 and Ballas behind a woman in a black Chrysler Sebring, talking on her cell, going 35 mph, while I'm trying to merge in behind her with the rest of the traffic going 65 mph. She about got me killed. grrr, sml

Here in Orlando, people like to use that big pedal on the right even more when the light turns red.

But consider if you move too fast on a green light in St. Louis there is, inevitably, someone running the red. Also there is the driver who refuses to move to the empty lane when you are merging onto the highway. My personal favorite? The complete high noon stand still when, oh my goodness, two or more cars arrive simultaneously at a four way intersection with stop signs. . .take me back to Boston. . PLEASE!!!!!

Too funny! The best comment I ever heard was from a friend of mine in college who hollared out at the driver..."Are you waiting for a particular shade of green?!!!"
